Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! I really love the holiday season and I also really love decorating! I really adore all the sights, sounds and even smells of the Christmas season! One of my favorite scents is cinnamon! I came across an article that claims cinnamon boosts metabolism and keeps from cravings or binging on sweet foods. Stir your morning cup of coffee with a cinnamon stick, sprinkle some on apple slices or blend it into a fruit smoothie and see if you can feel a difference!
If you missed it, check out Star Magazine! This is a picture from my photo shoot for the designer I am the face of this season…Azadeh! Just love her clothes!
: She's no hippie, but when The Real Housewives of Orange County
's Gretchen Rossi is in San Francisco, she believes in flower power! Gretchen clutches a bouquet of blooms while filming an ad campaign for local fashion brand Azadeh Couture."
How is this not talked about more?? In my search for true and ever lasting beauty, I came across an article about a way cancer patients can keep their hair! Cancer patients experience a wide range of emotions and everyone’s reaction is different and personal, but one concern is hair loss.
In this article
, patients can use Penguin Cold Caps – a head wrap worn before, during and after each intravenous chemotherapy session. It’s made from medical grade polyurethane filled with crylon gel, and it is then frozen to -22 degrees Fahrenheit. This chill reduces blood flow in the scalp and therefore less chemotherapy toxins flowing to the hair follicles.
Apparently many people and even doctors aren’t aware of this treatment! The Rapunzel Project
is dedicated to helping chemo patients keep their hair during treatment and is working to make this treatment available to chemo patients.
I haven’t had a chance to read more about Penguin Cold Caps, but it’s so interesting! I’d love to hear your thoughts and more about it!
Slade and I always have so much fun spending time with his boys! This picture was taken at Brooke Burke's Holiday Party that was sponsored by Hallmark, we were so excited to be invited to this great event! Grayson had soooo much fun at this party! Slade and I played fun holiday games with him, we made his Christmas Wish Lists together, and they even had a cookie decorating table for the kids! Brooke and David were such wonderful hosts and their home was just beautiful! The kids all got gift swag bags and Grayson experienced some Christmas Joy a little early!
The professional photographer also took a photo by the Christmas tree for us, and look how cute it turned out! This is definitely our Holiday Card this year!
I would love to see your Holiday Greeting cards this season! Send them to me here at firstname.lastname@example.org
and I will start an album with all my fans holiday cards!
For now, check out the rest of my photos from the event here!
Enjoy the Holiday Season Everyone!
I saw this super cute candy cane nail style from bellasugar.com
that's good enough to eat! Copy this candy coated look by doing the following:
Use a flat white with no shimmer for the base - if you do use a shimmery polish make sure to apply enough layers to get that candy coated look. Get a medium length striping tool and apply the alternating thicknesses of red. Then add a shimmer coat over all for that extra shine.
